Rice graduate transfer guard Egor Koulechov has scheduled an official visit to Iowa State, according to multiple media reports. Travis Hines of the Ames Tribune was first to report the news.

Koulechov recently visited Oklahoma and is expected to visit Florida this weekend. His visit to Ames is scheduled for April 21-23, which coincides with New Mexico graduate transfer Elijah Brown’s scheduled visit to Iowa State. Both players have one season of eligibility remaining entering the 2017-18 season.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Russian averaged 18.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game this past season for the Owls. He shot 47 percent from behind the 3-point line with 81 makes.

Iowa State has four scholarships left to fill for the 2017-18 season. Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on basketball recruiting in the next several days.
