ISU releases 2017 football schedule

AMES – The Big 12 Conference announced its 2017 league football schedule Tuesday.

The conference shared that several conference games could still have date changes pending network television decisions.

The Cyclones will have six home games in 2017, including four conference games in Jack Trice Stadium.

Iowa State will begin the season by playing host to UNI on either Aug. 31 or Sept. 2, pending television.

The Cyclones will play host to the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game vs. Iowa on Sept. 9 and will end their non-conference slate with a road game at Akron (Sept. 23).

Iowa State will open up Big 12 action by playing host to Texas on Sept. 30.

Homecoming has been set for Oct. 28 vs. TCU.
