America has caught on to what the folks in Ames have known for quite a while. Georges Niang is one of the best power forwards in college basketball. 

On Thursday morning, ESPN.com national college basketball writer Dana O’Neil released her "power forwards to watch" column for the 2014-15 season. Niang was honored by receiving a feature photo in the piece along with being listed beside four other returnees.
