When I went through the schedule I picked out 5 losses, so I'll say they lose one more than that and go with 24-6. I predict losses to:

At Baylor
At KU
Lose one of at UT or at OU
At WVU
At KSU

For the 6th, we either get upset at Vandy or at TTU or TCU. I think we go undefeated at home. I think we win the Advocare Inv.

Breaking it down, I’ll say 22 wins:

10-2 in non-con with a losses either @ Vandy, @iowa or Advocare Final

12-6 conference with running the table at Hilton with all losses on the road expect for @ TCU, Tech and K-State

Sorry Koolaid drinkers, I don’t see 25+ wins (that would require at least a 11-1 non-con and 14-4 conference record) but would love to be proven wrong.

Edit: Forgot about the Vandy game in the middle of conference play. I'll still stick with 22 wins though.

Keep in mind we only play 29 games in the regular season this year. Breaking it down, I’ll say 22 wins:

10-1 in non-con with a loss either @ Iowa or Advocare Final

12-6 conference with running the table at Hilton with all losses on the road expect for @ TCU, Tech and K-State

Sorry Koolaid drinkers, I don’t see 25+ wins (that would require at least a 11-0 non-con and 14-4 conference record) but would love to be proven wrong.
Loss @iowa?!?! Have you seen their team? Iowa is a .500 team.

I picked 22 but was actually thinking including the Big XII tournament. Didn't read the question correctly.

I always think of the 'regular' season as the record going into the Big Dance because that's what's important for selection and seeding. But I know that's not really right.

Including the Big 12 tourney as regular season is reasonable assumption. I should've made it more clear in the thread intro.

Edit: My main reason not to include conference tournament is, because it's a poll, the W comparison would be more consistent--- some people might guess ISU plays only once in KC (going 0-1), others might tally it as 3 games (3-0/2-1).

According to every coach I've ever heard, all that matters is that they win the next one. I don't have enough fingers to know for sure but I think that adds up to somewhere between 25-40 wins.
