A topic mainly about Iowa State. You're worried about an NFL team that doesn't exist reusing a UFL team's name. There's as good of a chance as Des Moines landing an NFL team and calling them the Barnstormers. Zero.

This is like a 2/10 on the "weird obsessions that get talked about on here" scale.

Cheering for young adults playing children's stick and ball games like our lives depend on it and shelling out significant amounts of money and time on it is absurd on its face just because they're wearing laundry with the correct colors on them against the other team with the wrong colors. But we love it.

So don't kink shame.

St. L definitely missing Rose

Well that was disappointing. I think that was a preview of the championship game, that will be played in St Louis. For STL we have 3 division games left to determine playoff contenders / seeding. DC at home, Arlington on the road, and San Antonio at home.

On the USLF side Birmingham needs 1 more win to clinch 1st place and Michigan needs one more win to get the 2 seed in the playoffs.

The XFL side is a bit more tight. Right now STL is .5 game ahead of San Antonio who is a half game ahead of DC. Arlington has been eliminated.

Right now STL has the tie breaker over San Antonio. They still have to play each other again in Week 10 (final game of the regular season) FWIW San Antonio still has to play Birmingham in Week 9.
