Nevada has been getting it done on the transfer market. Good for them.

We give him the "as many minutes as you want" option.

Buffalo coach Nate Oats told ESPN guard Lamonte Bearden has been given his release to transfer. Asked for it earlier this month. Crazy.

This list could be pre Kasongo signing depending when he asked for release

Not a grad transfer, so he has to sit a year. Scholarships are all currently spoken for this year, so either someone has to give theirs up or he pays his own way this year while he red-shirts. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Seems like a bit of a long shot either way.

It could be a pre-Kasongo list like Messi mentioned but I wonder if this could at all mean that the staff doesn't feel too confident in Lard making it here?

Or Lard isn't going to make it.

Not a good 3 point shooter (25% last season) and an okay but not great 2 pt shooter (47%) it looks like he could use the redshirt year in the gym to work on his scoring.

But this guy does seem like the ideal replacement for Monte after this year so I would love to get him.

Also a quick look at his Twitter shows his most recent follows include Iowa St, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Arizona and Miami accounts.

According to www.verbalcommits.com which breaks down each schools scholarship chart, Wisconsin, Marquette & Iowa State are all full and don't have any room. But the others currently have an open spot
available.

Nevada - 12
Arizona - 12
TCU - 12
Texas A&M - 12
Wisconsin - 13
Marquette- 13
Iowa State - 13
Miami - 11

So unless the Iowa state coaching staff knows something that isn't public yet, were not in a good position scholarship wise where TCU, Miami and A&M are.

Why such good schools with those below average shooting percentages?!? What am I missing here?

That was my question as well. The handle and athleticism seem to be the answer.

I'm guessing he's got big times skills. Chances are he forced a lot of shots trying to carry a Buffalo team that was just ok.
