I'm a first time poster, but long time reader. I have a 4 1/2 year old niece from West Des Moines that is a HUGE Cyclone fan. She's been a member of the Lil Clone Club for at least 2 or 3 years, and been to nearly every football game since she joined. She was diagnosed with Brain Stem Glioma last week which is inoperable. She is currently at Mayo Clinic to determine what treatments will be most effective. The outlook so far is as bad as it can get. She has a twin brother and a 9 month old sister who are also in the Lil Clone Club. Her name is Elise Lambert. You can get on www.caringbridge.org/visit/eliselambert for more information. My only reason for posting this is to obtain more prayers in her favor. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you very much.

Thats heart-wrenching stuff...feel awful for her and her family. Certainly in my prayers, and best of luck.

Gut-wrenching. I can't imagine being a parent in this situation. Thoughts and prayers are the least I could do.

Elise and her family will be in my thoughts. This is a very nice thing you are doing for your niece. My thoughts will be for you, too, cyman2004. This is hard for the extended family as well.

My thoughts and prayers with Elise and her family. We will make some calls to get her some Cyclone gear to help brighten her Spirits. Care package will be on it's way soon.

Stuff like is so tough to hear especially when it's young people involved. I have a 8 year old cousin who has recently developed a form of epilepsy so this story really hits close to home. You and your family have my thoughts and prayers.

I recommend you guys get in touch with CPR's staff and get her up to Ames to meet the team at a practice. I will remember her in prayer.

Thanks

This is a great thing you are doing for your niece. Will keep her and your family in my prayers.

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. Not sure if I'm attaching the picture correctly, but if so, here's a pic of her and her twin brother from last year on Jack Trice.
