I can finally give an update on my niece. Great news yesterday. They did a biopsy at St. Jude's in Memphis last Wed. They received the results yesterday 5/6/10. At first, they thought the tumor was a DIPG, which I'm not sure what that stands for, but know that was the worst of the worst possible things it could be. The final result was that it is a low grade, level 1 or 2, non-agressive tumor. They think they can nail it down to almost nothing with just radiation. Doesn't sound like any chemo at this time. Eventually it will come back someday and they'll treat it again, but so much better than we were first lead to believe.

I'm expecting twins in October, and ever since I read your story, we've been praying for Elise and watched her story on the KCCI news when Cy came to see her. I just can't imagine the pain and agony that her and the rest of your family is going through. Glad there is some good news and our prayers are working, somewhat at least. Still praying for you and her bro!!!
