Young Cyclone in need

My heart goes out to you and the whole family. I will keep her and the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sad news, thoughs and prayers are with all involved.

From the journal-

"I couldn't help but take a long look at her...her beautiful round face, long blonde hair, 'Go Cy!' tattoo that she insisted I put on her cheek, before I took a deep breath & turned to walk out of the room."

Dedicated fan at age 4 1/2.

She, along with family and friends, will certainly be in my prayers.

Unfortunately, today did not go our way. The tumor is apparently imbedded somehow in the spinal cord so even a biopsy doesn't look possible. The doctors and my sister will be getting the MRI, etc. information to St. Jude's in Memphis to figure out a game plan. At this point, radiation seems to be our best, possibly only, hope. Please continue to keep Elise in your thoughts and prayers because I do believe miracles can happen.

The outpouring of support from all of you, as well as the coaching staff, administration, and players has been overwhelming. We have received emails from Jaime Pollard, Christy Johnson, and Bill Fennelly to name a few. I received a personal phone call from Anna Florzak this morning offering her help. Coach Fennelly offered to buy several braclets with "Elise's Prayer Pals" on them. We should have those in anyday. The volleyball team has even offered to sell them at their camps and clinics.

Again, thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts.
