Yellowstone - new TV "western"

is that kid still in the ditch looking for lugnuts?

his mom goes down screaming from gunshots to the back.. he still looks for lugnuts. john dutton only knew him for 10 mins and instilled hard work into the little bugger.

You know that is a good question... We never did see them shoot the kid

probs was on the ground army crawlin for lug nuts. hope he didn't crawl into his pee.

also. why tf is he taking the lug nuts with him to go pee in the first place? little did he know that dumb act saved his life.

usually you set the lug nuts down next to the spare tire.

whatever man

Speaking of innocent looking coolers... I enjoyed seeing Beth's rack just prior to that.

And since you broke the ice about Beth being alive... The new kid we got introduced to that her and Rip are going to take in the first thing that came to my mind when they were talking on the bench at the hospital was he's almost like the kid Rip and Beth never had as he has a little bit of both of their personalities.

I'm really interested to see how things play out with the Indian reservation this season as they have just as much at stake in stopping the development as the Duttons do and if last night showed us anything they may be willing to help the Duttons some while still technically fighting to get their land back too. The crossover scene that I assume was a peek into 1883 show that drops next week with Tim McGraw gave things a good backstory too. It basically showed that the Duttons in the past aren't as heartless as some think they are.

Plot twist: that’s who orchestrated the shooting

I'm starting to think it was funded by the Global Equities group but they used Jamie's biological father as the middle man to round up the militia roughnecks that carried out the attacks because I doubt the corporate big wigs like Wilma and Rourke have the contacts themselves to carry that all out as it went down nor would they want to leave a trail that leads back to them. So makes sense to me they drop a bunch of money to Jamie's dad who hates the Duttons too and uses his rough past to carry out the plan. Just a wild guess but I still am not ruling out the possibility that the attacks came from more than 1 source but after last night to me sure sounds like they were all planned out by the same source. When Kayce was gunning down all the guys fleeing from the van I was hoping they left at least 1 alive they could question but as we find out later 1 of them involved starts to blab about it at the reservation casino and Mo does the dirty work to try and get him to confess who was behind it.

Did not even consider that about Jamie’s dad. Think that’s a great call. Will Patton is too big of an actor to have him just play some bit role like Jamie’s dad - they have something planned for him

My thoughts exactly and with some of his lines/quotes in the teaser trailers they released earlier makes me more suspicious of him having some kind of role in the hits put on the Duttons. What use is his character if he's not involved in some kind of plot against the Duttons at this point because the little we know about the character so far doesn't make me think he's all the sudden turned a corner and is going to be some model citizen and father figure to Jamie. There has to be something in it for him either conning Jamie into doing something that benefits him or taking action himself

My hunch is that Jamie was clueless as usual, but the corporation will paint him as the ring leader with his real dad as opposed to the corp. A great two+ hours that went too fast. Still so much to unpack.

They REALLY half assed Roark’s demise. Rattlesnake bites rarely kill at all and if they do it takes hours not minutes. The show is normally not that sloppy.

I was surprised they killed him off like that, figured it would be something worse but hey at least it looked like a natural accident. I'm no snake expert but guessing if they were pressed on it they'd say it was some variety that venom can kill you quickly and not your run of the mill rattle snake.

I already have Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max and Apple TV+ but I've heard a lot of good things about Yellowstone. Is it worth adding another service to get this show?

Love the show but last night was hard to watch. John got shot multiple times at point blank range with an automatic rifle and lived?
Beth was near an explosion that blew bricks out of the building and walks out? No traumatic brain injuries?

The cops just unload on the first blue van they see? They were hours behind it and only knew it was a two tone van and they just managed to catch up?

Months later the cops are still protecting the Dutton’s front gate but haven’t managed to run down any leads on the shooters?

Rainwater’s attorney was going to file a suit in last season’s finale to stop construction but apparently didn’t? What happened to that?

It's an enjoyable show, but there are a lot of half-assed aspects of it; they completely abandoned the sub-plot from Season 2 when Jamie's ex-girlfriend told him that she was expecting with his child and gave him am ultimatum. I also find it hard to believe that Beth wasn't more badly hurt by that explosion...although I'm glad she's still around since Kelly Reilly is an exceptional actress with an exceptional body that she is fine with showing off.
