WTF: Bruce Pearl resigns

Is there an example of a coaches son taking over that actually worked out? There are some examples of coaches sons that ended up being good coaches (Kiffin, Shanahan, Mora Jr., the Harbaughs, etc.) , but I can't think of anyone that took over the same job and was successful at it.
 
Is there anything the schools can put into contracts to have any sort of recourse in these situations? Just nepotism in its worst form.

Ray Meyer to Joey Meyer worked out pretty well for DePaul but that was probably 40 years ago at this point.

I'll be that Kellen Sampson will do well at Houston though it's going to be tough to be as elite as his dad is.

Keno Davis had that one year. Not much of an argument from me with that, but he was good for a year.

Lot of failures: Pat Knight, Sean Sutton, John Thompson III. Tony Bennett took over for his Dad at Washington State and did well
