Definitely not LSU, particularly if this type of striping is used in the new uniforms.

I am not a fan of the home unis, so I wouldn't be against going the LSU route. At the very least they have the away unis covered. The all whites or the red-white-red with the matte helmets. A couple of things moving forward: first, add stripes to the two red helmets. Second, when they order new home unis, make sure that there is white between the piping on the shoulders and pants. That way, they can use the white helmets for a few home games.

Agreed with all except no matte red helmet. Keeping the cardinal/ white/ cardinal option for away is a good idea. Getting a common cardinal/gold white stripe pattern on the cardinal helmets, pants and jerseys, like what there will be with the all whites, would be great.

Makes me laugh because they wanted white helmets years ago and everyone *******.

I remember that. They were going with white helmets when they changed the logo and everyone had a fit so they went with red.

Well white with red jerseys probably isn't the best permanent uniform combo. It might be fun for an alternate though.

White for the away helmets is pretty damn awesome though.

It was the white helmet with red jerseys with yellow pants that looked horrific.

Plus way back in 07-08, it wasn't common for teams to have multiple helmets. White would have been our only choice. In 2016 we are celebrating a sexy alternate.

Give the cardinal helmet that chrome facemask and flip the colors of that tapered stripe and slap it on - win. Perhaps chrome up the paint a bit.
