Iowa State was originally supposed to have white helmets with new logo. Fan base clamored for red instead.

If white is all it takes to make some of you happy ... sigh.
Fail. Nader is not wearing a white helmet.

Boy, I'm surprised the "all white" look passed the Jamie Pollard Cultural Insensitivity Test.
Yes. This is all we wanted. The team can go 0-12 for the next 10 years and we'll all be fine with it.
No it's not ALL it takes to make us happy, but it's a step in the right direction. The previous staff was diametrically opposed to change and doing things that were considered trendy. This staff doing the exact opposite is a breath of fresh air.
I hope white helmets and white pants do not become the home uniform. Maybe one game a year to satisfy all of the white helmet supporters that don't like the cardinal and gold school colors.
Could someone who's good at photoshop edit my avatar with a new white helmet and jersey? I'd be eternally grateful.
Somehow the whole thing reminds me of the rules about white shoes only between Memorial Day and Labor Day and matching your purse with your shoes.
And don't the Dallas Cowboys wear white at home most of the time? Not that we're the Cowboys.
You're welcome.

Makes me laugh because they wanted white helmets years ago and everyone *******.
Sweet. Will be a good look for the road this year. Heck, wear them once for a home game too. (Please tell me that two gold stripes are going down the center of the cardinal helmets too.)
