Slow climb for sure, but we're heading the right direction.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Slow climb for sure, but we're heading the right direction.
Idk whats worse them at #20 or Michigan only dropping to #7
Surprised our board seems split on if KSU should be top 25. Have people not watched them lately? Yeah they lost to A&M but they have been curb stomping the conference since they squeaked out that win against us where we appeared to lose focus.
They killed Tech at home and beat OU/OKState on the road in absolutely dominant fashion. It is not easy to win that comfortably on the road in this conference and they're doing it.
True, but you can't just ignore the non-con, including getting beat down by a really bad TAMU team. In the past 4 weeks or so they have definitely played like one of the top 25 teams in the country, and they're likely to get there, but right now based on their results so far there's a good argument to keep them out. Also, Tech, OU and OSU all look completely broken right now.
Slow climb for sure, but we're heading the right direction.
ISU is up to #17 this week
Another example of why to not taking this too seriously.

Both of these voters ranked us worse this week, versus last week.
That's not true. You can put a winner rating on every single post in this thread if you want to.

The Drake loss really resulted in that team going under the radar until ridiculously late. ISU was just absolutely crushing the Big 12 before they got ranked.
I'd like to say it doesn't matter but it could have cost the team the #1 seed they had rightfully earned by NCAA tournament time and we all know we ended up playing a road game on a green court.
Idk whats worse them at #20 or Michigan only dropping to #7
They only have 2 losses, both on the road to tournament teams. Why wouldnt they be #7?
The lack of respect for the B12 is sickening. Nobody deserves to be in the top 10 right now but that doesn't make it a junk conference. KState's loss to aTm hurt them but Baylor is playing really good ball. They should be ranked (just threw up in my mouth a little.)
That's BS, IMO.And neither Baylor or KSU made top 25?!
Say what you want about KSU and Baylor - Weber and Drew get more out less as well as anyone. I don't like it about 4x/year but you have to respect it. Well, we have to respect, sportswriters not so much.
I dislike Iowa as much as anybody on this board. Unfortunately, they are pretty good. Garza, although unathletic, is quite skilled offensively. They will make the tourney. Given their lack of guards, I doubt they go very far.I hate that I seem to be defending Iowa but the teams they've lost big to are the following NET rankings:
#8 (twice)
#11
They're other two losses are to:
#12
#52
Kansas State's losses:
#18
#99
#41
#36
#106
I do not get what Baylor is selling!Someone said this about Huggins after the WVU game and I just don’t get it here. I’ll give you Weber. His recruiting classes are usually 40s to 80s. But Drew absolutely gets talent in.
Since 2010:
2010: 6
2011: 23
2012: 4
2013: 20
2014: 61
2015: 46
2016: 41
2017: 81
2018: 36
Outside of 2017 and 2014, Drew has had some good to damned great recruiting classes. He’s definitely had plenty of talent to work with.
