No, it's not Iowa's fault their schedule was garbage. But at the same time, don't get sensitive when people point out that AAC teams had more difficult conference schedules. It's just how things have gone this decade.
Bingo. It’s like when we played in the Big 12 North and had a couple of chances of winning it. We all knew how bad that division was. The Big Ten West is just a notch above that North division.

Eh I try to be honest and that North division was complete trash. Again that’s not saying anything positive about the current Big Ten West. That’s just how low the bar is to clear to be “better” than the old North during that 2-3 year run. Now the Big Ten West can surpass it in terribleness should they get a couple of more years like this one.

Believe it or not, I used to cheer for Iowa State when I was out of college and living in the cities. You were my second team. I remember being so disappointed at the final 8 game against Michigan State. I thought it would be cool for a team from my small hometown state to have a team in the Final Four. Then, I moved to Iowa. I started dealing with Cyclone fans and things quickly changed. I just could not believe how much Iowa State fans hated Iowa so much. I don't hate Iowa State. But because of the fans I no longer root for ISU.

You should have grown up an ISU fan in eastern Iowa when Fry made them decent.

Then you'd understand.

Maybe.

Well that’s an interesting take because complete offense (I am not saying no offense because people only say that when they are about to) but poll most midwest college fanbases and you are going to lose on the “which fan base is worse between ISU and Iowa” by a landslide. I work with fans of Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers, Penn State and Michigan State and they ALL say they obviously dislike their rivals first but outside of that Hawkeye fans are the absolute worst.

Had a Florida fan I work with tell me that after they played Iowa in the Outback Bowl in the early ‘00s Iowa fans surpassed the douchebaggery of even Alabama fans. That says something.

Way up there
Perfect scenario would be Michigan winning today and then losing to Wisconsin next week. Badgers were playing awful when they lost to them earlier in the year. For good measure, Penn St can beat Sparty, get the b1g out of here.
