Next real game for ISU will be at Iowa on the 11th. I'll be interested to see how they do versus BYU tomorrow and Tennessee on Saturday. Plan to take a peek at that Tennessee game to get some sort of take on how the Hawks are playing leading up to our rivalry game.

Sidebar: We are currently up 9-4 in the Cy-Hawk Series for this year Most of the competitions are in IC this year. Would hope the MBB can take a win and a win by the WBB and the men both will ice it. The three points for football loom big on our plus side with 12 points remaining up for grabs.
BTW, the series is a dead heat with each university winning it 9 times.

Always thought it's dumb that most events are at 1 side. It's equal for most part because side that has the home games do what you should do and protect home field.

I don't have an issue with the annual home and away setup. Each school has their automatic wins, Iowa in wrestling and most of the time in football and swimming and ISU with an almost guaranteed wins in cross country and volleyball.

If you split it up home.and aways equally in a season it would be even more unbalanced depending on when you got your weak sports at home. The fact it's 9-9 supports the home one year and away the next.

Wow…Drake got hammered today by Wyoming. Love that Ezell's team got the win. Dinnebier must have used up her scoring on Iowa and ISU…A whopping five points on 2-7 shooting and didn’t make a single trey.

The Iowa team that is going to beat Iowa State by 25 or 30 points is currently behind Rhode Island at halftime. Not saying they won’t pull out the wind, but…

Iowa survived a clunker 2nd quarter to beat Rhode Island. I am way more interested in their game Saturday versus Tennessee than any game in resort gym in Cancun. Just sayin'. I am not sure why any team plays in these Flo-hoop crap matchups in resort gyms. Not that I don't have an interest in BYU tomorrow. Mildly curious about BYU.

BYU is solid and if Olsen doesn’t play it will be a tough game. Offense really bogged down without her in there. Although the freshman guide and played her most extended minutes and actually looked decent, so who knows maybe be a positive but it was an effing gross game.

Good defense again outside of the 23 point third quarter… What a weird game

I remember them giving LSU all they could handle at LSU in ncaa tournament. If a good chunk of that team is back we will be in a dogfight.

The other big Russian girl transferred to a Mac team if I’m not mistaken, but they have a transfer from Arizona that has done pretty good and they have three Starers back from that team from last year… Lost by 14 to Tennessee. They’re only loss of this year.

Injured bad cut on her leg.

Fell off the raised floor and cut knee. Hoping she plays tomorrow. Looked way out of sync on offense w/out her.

And although our defense is multiple levels better than last year, our offense has been a bit choppy so far this year anyway. Pretty excited about the team but man did they struggle tonight.

39 points given up in quarters one, two and four but inexplicably gave up 23 in the third.

It’s a funny game basketball?!
