Uniform Combo for TTU Game

can we get away from this bright yellow and go to a more gold or darker yellow? How hard is that. We did it in the 70s, why can't we do it now?

Every single I-State logo on every inch of the Stadium and Hilton has the yellow you dislike. Hate to say it, but it's here to stay.

We might be able to get a true gold alternate but they aren't changing the main color scheme.

Do not hate. Look better than any other gold jersey combo we've done so far. I agree with Woody, though, I'd prefer white/red/white.

I'm very much looking forward to what next year will be with new uniforms. It will be setup much better for when the team rolls out in alt uniform. Yes, I know that recruits get excited about uniform combos and I loved the grays earlier this year too. White helmets? Yes please. Not every combo is great and 2 or 3 home games in normal uniforms is fine too. I like what Chris Williams says about uniforms and how it can create excitement and bring interest from recruits, but I also like what Adam Gray says and that's Just Win. Uniform changes are just flash without substance if winning is coming along with it. It takes hype to a certain level. I fully support alt unifroms, don't get me wrong and I think that CMC and staff will soon have the W's to supply the substance with the flash.

I still want a gold/gold/grey or a grey/gold/grey. I liked the greys but they were a little janky since the design wasn't really meant for a bunch of different alternates.

Have we ever gotten a run down on what the helmet stickers are awarded for? Very curious about the difference between the Cyclone and the Cy Head.

Also, them using that Cyclone for the stickers gives me hopes of an alternate helmet with that logo for next year. Fingers crossed.

They only get them for wins. The old school tornado logo is for the team win and then the cy's head is for specific individual stuff in that game they won I believe

And the old school red tornado logo in place of the I-State next year for a few games is going to look bad ass.

[disclaimer]: I like the I-STATE logo. Keep it as primary. It doesn't always have to be on the helmet.

We all can't be apart of group think. Sorry, but it doesn't look great. Also, ISU doesn't have to be Oregon with uniform combinations. Get some new uniforms next year and gray helmets to go with the Storm uniforms and ISU is good. I'm all for alt uniforms, just doesn't need to happen every game.

I had a feeling they might be de-emphasizing the Cardinal because of TTUs colors as well.

If so, I would hope they would also make it a "gold rules" game and get the fans to wear gold too.
