I disagree I think Benton may be our most solid corner. He is the fastest, tallest and best tackler.

When you say "got beat", what do you mean? If they didn't complete the pass, he wasn't beat.
If you can, watch those plays again. We are playing everyone up close to the LOS to stop the run. Wally knew that QB couldn't beat us deep, and he didn't. The corners took away the short passes and were willing to give them the deep pass, because the QB couldn't get the ball there. That's not "getting beat".
You have a fair point, but Benton was 2-3 steps behind their receiver on two straight plays. That's why he was yanked and Anthony Young came in the very next play.

Speaking of Hamlin, he was atrocious on kick coverage - absolutely horrible. I bet he got ripped apart during film.
Best after LJ that is... LJ is a very very good corner. I think Ter'ran when we are in base defense is the right call and then Reeves and Young platooning when we are in nickel. Maybe more Young that Reeves. I think Anthony could be pretty good for us
Our kick coverage left a lot to be desired on Thursday. Definitely an area that needs improved upon before Saturday.
