It’s a microscopic part of the larger picture but people act like they would be happier scoring 4 points a game from inbounds plays than they are with pulling in top 50 kids on the recruiting trail.

I don't think it's the lack of scoring on inbounds plays, (but seriously how hard is it to copy a decent play or 2), I think it is the complete lack of ability to even get the ball inbounds that we we're seeing a month ago. We have a 6'-5" senior point guard and we aren't able to inbound the ball. I felt like we couldn't call time outs to stop 10-0 runs by the other team because we needed to save the time outs so we would avoid the 5 count.
We need a defensive mentor before offense.
Nope--facts talking not emotion. I often wondered during the season if Prohm got and extra $1000 for every unused timeout. To let teams go on 20-2, 16-0 runs and never call a timeout is just coaching malpractice. And the out of timeout plays were a joke. You look at what Bill Self or Fred ran out of a timeout and compare it to our last 3 years---again its just a joke. Let's be honest: CSP is just happy to be here and collect his $2 million/year. He's a mid-major coach and that's all he'll ever be.
Dustin was actually really special because he had a 3-pt shot but he also had a great post up game. When he was playing the 3 we would get lots of easy buckets off his post ups.
Dustin was a fun player and good, but there seems to be an unwarranted amount of gushing about him.

This is dumb. The point he was making wasn't that beating seeds so low is shameful. He's arguing that we should expect Prohm to get a win or two against a seed better than 12.
Nobody argued that we should go on a run beating Duke, Gonzaga, UNC, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and the 1968 Bruins to win a title, just that we should expect a coach to be able to accomplish a simple win against a seed better than a 12.
I'm ok with you ******** about it...freedom of speech. But unless you're a time traveler from the future, you have no idea whether Prohm can lead us to a Final Four. The one thing he seems to do pretty well is recruit. He continues to bring top talent in, we'll always be in the conversation. He IS capable of improving himself as a coach too. Although I'm curious of how he goes about doing this.
I think we were very idealistic this year in that we ran an offense where everybody shared the ball. Kind of like Golden State. It just turned into a shell drill, though. Need to turn it into a simpler offense where the decisions are more limited.
The thing is he’s earned high seeds which means he plays low seeds. It’s not his ******* fault two years ago there was an upset.

Not dodging anything. Would you be happier if they earned a 14 and won a game.
He’s lost to a 1 in the sweet 16 and a 4. And now an 11.
Did Fred ever beat a good seed? The answer is no. North Carolina a 6 was the best. He lost to a 7 and a 14.
