It was I, and just like conference expansion, it probably took to long to change it.

The Aggies have no legal recourse on this one.

Man, I remember the good 'ol days when this thread was about the TAMU. It was such a better thread back then. Now it's diluted with posts about realignment this and WVU that. Just don't make 'em like they used to.

But were already going to be getting almost double what we were in the past. imo, Plenty to pay off these improvements.

Yea, we'll see, I wouldn't be upset regardless of which direction they go. Both have viable points, and both could turn out to be positives or negatives.

Say that to them yourself. If I were you I'd find a safehouse, you know somewhere to lay low cause I hear that the Aggie Mafia is already after you. They sent their best yell leaders, mason jars and all.

The thread title was changed because Texas A&M does not deserve to have it's name in the title of the longest thread in CF history.

Is it possible we take both and MU stays for 12? We basically did an end around the SEC and got the teams we wanted while MU held them at bay. Could get better yet if there is an investigation by congress and it comes out that the sec and PAC were seen as those responsible for this mess.

Remember, don't put much into what JP says. He keeps everything very close to the vest and doesn't mention anything until it's done.

MO is all about Mo' Money.

The BE cancelled their super conference meeting today. BOISE STATE is trying to move to BE without their Olympic sports. Louisville is waiting. WVU is waiting. The whole BE is waiting. The whole Big 12 is waiting. The SEC is waiting. MO is looking like bad actors to the rest of the football world. Cm'n man, get off the pot.

What rule says that the Big 12 has to wait for Missouri to formally withdraw before taking applications? Nobody's even formally APPLIED yet! This delay doesn't have anything to do with MU!

Several B12 members only want 10 teams. There's 2 schools interested in one opening. Some members want L-ville. Some want WVU. That's the delay.

This isn't about "dominoes falling." This is about coming to a settlement...nobody pays full buyouts. ISU stands to receive (assuming equal distribution this time) about $1M to $1.5M from MU in buyout money, I'm guessing. We're not talking scoreboard money, here. You can't even buy out Turner Gill's contract with that.

Nobody wants this done faster than Mizzou fans. But the admins aren't doing their jobs if they pay a larger buyout just to save some time.

Missouri has 10 varsity sports other than Track, Golf, and Tennis. They have been looking to drop wrestling so they can also drop a women's sport and still be compliant with Title IX.

This is about making money from football and cutting costs. I don't blame them but that doesn't make it right.

This guy knows everything. Everyone else shut up.

$25-30 million / 10 = $2.5-3.0 million per school

$25-30 million / 8 (original Big12 only) = $3.125-3.75 million per school

I see Missouri's education system left math classes off the priority list.
