If you can get there like during the day on a weekday it's not too bad, weekends at Costco are not for me.

Yeah I typically try to go on Monday or Tuesday. Leave work a little early and swing through and it's not bad. Tried going on a Saturday afternoon once and I will never ever do that again

They weren’t $14 they were eight or nine.
They were $5.99 to 6.99 dollars for 6 of them and you had to purchase 2 boxes of them, you could not purchase just one box of six, only two boxes of six. So this price is cheaper, because they have gotten rid of the rule you have to buy two boxes of eight.

Paper products (Paper towels, tp, Clorox wipes, trash bags, etc)
Bottled Water
Drinks for kids (Gatorade, Sunny D)
Milk
Used to get formula, diapers and wipes
Toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, body wash
Batteries
Chicken breasts, wings, and the pre-packaged chicken for air fryer
The frozen shaved steak for Phillies (we use it to make quesadillas)
Frozen fruit for smoothies
Plain white bath and hand towels
Snacks in the summer for camping
Coffee K cups

We live an hour outside Des Moines and typically have to go on Sunday. Too many people to browse. We usually hustle through the store, get what we need, and get out.

Things I don't buy at Costco:
Kirkland bacon sucks
I can usually buy booze cheaper at Wall to Wall across the street. I used to love the Kirkland Canadian whiskey, but I swear they changed the formulation a couple years ago and cheapened it up. Gives me a headache now.

I have a Costco about 3/4 of a mile from me

Gas
Pre-cooked bacon
Bacon pieces
Cashews
Glasses
Golf gloves

About once every 4 years I'll drive 10 miles to Oregon and buy tires, no state sales tax
Best pre-cooked bacon there is. Shhh, don't let too much word out on that.

Really like their chunky guacamole - single serve portions in cups. Good stuff
Year, maybe 2 ago, they had Lumpia in the refrigerated section that were to die for out of the air fryer. However they were only a short run, but I always check on my trips back.

Also, my wife recently bought a WooZoo fan. Small, ball/globe shaped to use for a room. Have since bought 2 more as gifts & many houseguests have really liked it.

Can't go wrong in the wine section nor the liquor/spirits either.

I’m jealous of all of you shopping at Costco and Sam’s club while I’m stuck with a BJs.
My parents were stuck with just BJs until a Costco opened ten minutes from their house. I took my mom there when we visited and she said it was way better than BJs.

The oblivious people shopping there though. Today I was at the Ankeny one and a guy kept stopping and leaving his cart in the middle of the aisle to walk to a different part of the aisle to get something. Me and the people behind him kept getting stuck. The third time it happened I “gently” rammed his cart out of the way so we could all pass. He didn’t even look at us as we went by him.

A coworker of mine calls it the three hundred dollar store since you can't get out of there without spending $300 or more lol.

I personally spend less than $50 there just for items like coffee, etc. I'm usually the person with two things standing in line with people that have full carts.

I live like 10 minutes from one so that probably factors in since a trip there isn't one big swoop of things.

Have you even ever been to a Costco?
Been a member for years, how about you, since you know nothing about how much things cost in their stores or that they switched the muffins, before when you had to purchase 2 packs, they would not sell you one. We go down to the one in Ankeny every month or so, before that we went to the one in W. Des Moines.

Prescription sunglasses/eye glasses. Kirkland pants are nearly identical to Lululemon (pattern, stitches), Starbucks pods for wife, lawn furniture, WP clothing, not a fan of their cocktails, their Cult wine is good.
