What are your go-to's at Costco? What are the random odd things you've bought there but swear by?

For us - it's produce. Our 4.5 year old alone can eat through more produce than any human being I've ever seen. Strawberries, Grapes, Carrots, Pears, Green Beans, you name it.

They also have individual packs of cut, grilled chicken that are awesome in salads.

My 4 yo is also in his fruit era.

We mostly buy paper goods there -- toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags.

I've also started buying the pediasure shakes there (same cost as Amazon, but ... you know). My son doesn't always want to eat in the mornings, so he has a pediasure. I don't feel bad sending him to daycare with just a granola bar in his bag if he has the pediasure drink. He thinks it's just chocolate milk. Win.

We also go through a crap ton of Hidden Valley Ranch in our house because my son will dip anything in it. So I typically pick up those two-packs.

I'm trying to explore what else I can get there to break my Amazon and Target stops.

A big thing for me recently was light bulbs. Our house has a ton of recessed LED lights. A 6 pack replacement on Amazon was $66. A 4 pack at Costco was $20. I bought 3 of the 4 packs.

Also - clothes. A month or so back I asked my wife to look for gym shorts for me, and she found these Puma shorts that are incredible and I now own 8 pairs of (I WFH and I wear them).

I know you're an overnight oats person. We get there big bag of oats it's like 8 bucks and it lasts forever. And their chia seeds are similar priced to other stores but you get several times the amount

LOL I bought a pair in every color. They were like $12.

Oh - and for the love of everything - if you shop there a lot, get the Executive Membership. The cash back pays for the membership itself (and then some).

How could I forget gas (usually 10 cents/gallon cheaper) and contacts?

My son and wife eat a pallet of produce each week and theirs is tough to beat.

During tax season especially we have the prepared meals on hand almost all the time. Between the stuffed peppers, meatloaf, shepherd's pie, and prepared salads we can basically have a week of food without actually having to prep anything.

What does the Executive Membership do?

I have the Citi/Costco card that has a decent cash back that really does pay for my current membership. I try to fill up at the Costco station because they recently went up to 5%.

I get Kirkland chicken tenderloins, frozen veggies and their coffee as regular stuff and some other things. Occasional clothes but I try to avoid clutter.

Their deli ready-made stuff is generally very good and their breakfast stuff from the bakery is the bomb diggity.

Non-perishable food/drink. Some clothes. Some electronics. Ground beef/some other frozen meats. Household products. Hygiene items. Furniture.

Croissant rolls

If you haven't tried them, you can thank me later
My son will eat two boxes a week of those things, I don’t eat them but they are amazing!

I have so many things we love from Costco but one big one is the Kirkland lightly breaded chicken breast bites. They are really good, those in the air fryer have bailed me out so many nights and the kids love them.

I love to get the whole bean coffee, Kirkland Laundry detergent, Kirkland Canadian Whiskey (same as Crown Royal to me but way cheaper), and the Kirkland chicken nugget things (chunks of breaded chicken) and these are just a few.

We get pretty much the same things every time. Some staples:

Costco Paper Towels
Costco Dishwasher tabs
Laundry Pods
Trash Bags-Both Indoor and Outdoor-Outdoor works good for can redemption
Charmin A wipe
Red's Turkey Sausage Breakfast Burrito-They haven't had this recently so...
Red's Spicy Sausage breakfast Bagel
Folgers Coffee
Cabot brick cheese
Bananas
Kirkland EVOO
Ziplocks
Eye of Round-To make jerky
Brisket-I'll smoke a couple a year
Cheerios
Rao's Sauce
Parmesan Cheese
Breakfast Bars
Gas
Paper Plates
Parchment-If you buy this. make sure to read how to use it properly. It took us a couple of times to figure it out. Fold it on the inside.

Contacts, paper products, bottled water, always make time to go through the snack section, and we actually purchased a mattress through Costco. Not to mention the gas.
