I think the MLB is going to finish their season one way or another. Guys were going to get this and they have contingency plans for this (player pool, AAA guys ready to play, schedule realignment). The MLB shutting down are just rumors. The "spread" is in one club house (Marlins), who are playing again on Monday. The Phillies don't have one case, but are shut down until Monday as well for precautionary reasons. The Cards had two players test positive and are shutting down for precautionary reasons bc they don't want something like the Marlins to happen to them. You may be correct, but today we are hearing rumors that MLB will be shutting down for 2 weeks to stop the spread, and they had NO fans in the seats at any of their games.
This is happening with all the money in the world, and with less players involved. If MLB cannot make it work, how in the heck is CFB going to make it work?
The MLB is being looked at very closely by CFB and the NFL right now, as well as the NBA but the bubble scenario just won't work for either. So these leagues are going to look at what works for the MLB, what doesn't work, and try and figure it out from there.
