Sure appears to be according to this site. As of the minute I posted this, there were the following number of threads by forum represented in "New Posts":
Mens Basketball - 7
Off-Topic -3
Bug Tracking -2
Beer - 2
Womens BB - 1
In State Rivals - 2
Wrestling - 1
Ticket Exchange - 1
Football - 1
So, in addition to Men's BB, which is obviously king these days, the following things were more top-of-mind on this site than ISU Football in the heart of the season: Beer (understandable), Bug tracking, Off-topic and EIU. Apathy is not a good sign.
Don't confuse people staying away from a toxic forum for their own personal mental health as apathy. Nothing good has come out of the FB forum for weeks now. Why would anyone voluntarily go on there unless their purpose was to participate in the feeding frenzy of coach and team hate going on in there. Apparently those that do are tiring of spilling their rhetoric all over each other.
About August 30th i felt the season was over. Once you lose to an FCS school you are done.
Only 7 schools have lost to an FCS school and made a bowl game....ever. Teams like K-State, Michigan and VA Tech...not teams like ISU.
When is the last time Bill Snyder reported an injury status? I agree he is better off never commenting, but he does so at least he is smart enough to lie sometimes to keep em guessing.
Why are you so obsessed with the FCS thing. Ndst isn't the worst team we lost to this year.
Kind of self evident I guess. They have 23 less schollies and a lot less money.. A BCS school, that is not absolutely terrible, should never lose to an FCS school. On extremely rare occasions a school can recover as I pointed out. I just called out that I knew our season was done on opening day. Check out my posts back then and you will see it.
FWIW, I made a few calls on this and the "Richardson has not been throwing" stuff appears to be false. In fact, I'd say I'm nearly 100 percent sure of it. I fully expect him to play on Saturday, per my sources.
