Round of 32 Thread

finally something goes right, this should take some discussion from Iowa State's chokejob.

At this point just hoping Kentucky loses at any point in the tourney, would take coverage away massively from ISU and Baylor losses.

Hell I guess even if they win it all, that's all anybody will ever be talking about, so I think we're good either way. A lot of history to be made this tournament and the ISU chokejob will soon be forgotten by the national media(not by the fans of course).

We know the feeling Nova fan

IDK, Nova has had a lot of favorable seeds in the last 6 years and hasn't made it to the 2nd weekend. This is ISU's first really out of nowhere nutbreaker as a high seed with expectations. Granted Nova fans got to enjoy a final four in 2009, but since then it's been slim pickings for them.

I guess you could count Niang's broken foot last year, but they did win the UNC game without him. Or you could count OSU buzzer beater the year before, but I think most fans were still in "happy to be here" mode when that happened, not to mention we were a 10 seed.

We've got a few more tourney flameouts to go to match their pain though, lol.

.

The winner of UNI-Louisville will have one problem and that's travel. They play the late game in Seattle tomorrow and the winner will have a late flight back home plus lose two hours with the time change and get home early Monday a.m. Then have to turn around and fly to Syracuse on Tuesday I'm guessing,to play a Thursday game. How much will jet lag and less prep time have in the outcome of the game?

Friday game

Only twice has ISU lost to an unranked team when ranked. I don't need to mention who the 2 are.

That's also an awesome future gif.

It's already on Deadspin, of course.

Is it just a coincidence that a couple years after torching ND they look a lot more Hoiball-ish?
