Very good pick up. Him with Chris Ash takes me back to the days when ISU's secondary used to actually intercept and hit a little.

Agree with everyone else - this guy will be a HUGE impact player on our defense because he's a natural free safety. Love the play at 3:43 where he's way off the play and simply turns on the jets and catches a wr running down the sideline to push him out saving a long td.
If this guy plays at this level next year, our secondary is going to be a lot better. One thing that became obvious as the season progressed, our safety's simply were not very good and found themselves out of position a lot of the time without the speed to cover the mistakes!!!!
And looks to be a pretty good special teams player as well!!!!!
Another awesome player that Chris Ash brought into isu.....i did not like losing Troy Butler to KSU but to pick up this guy may ultimately turn out to be in our favor....

I know that it's typical to see secondary players submarine tackle quite often as they usually don't have the momentum the running back or quarterback might, I just hope he wraps up a little more than what we saw from the tape, of course those are the tackles that look impressive, and are naturally on the tape, I hope he had a lot more "boring" wrap up tackles. He did have one really nice wrap up near the goal line about mid-way through the tape, overall his athleticism is without question and I'm really looking forward to him playing center field for us.
