One advantage to working for the university...we never got sold. Downside...every time the powers that be took appropriated (and spent) money back because their math sucked...
Surprised myself and the instructor with my flying today. Got signed off for another two years with the minimum amount of time spent!
The anechoic chamber at Orfield Laboratories here in Mpls, which is 99.99 percent sound absorbent, is supposedly the quietest place on earth.
Even quieter than RTT on a Sunday morning. Guessing it will pick up some on Monday when you are supposed to be working.

You now how @cyrocksmypants says he disappears into a work rabbit hole for months during tax season. Cannot absolutely confirm* yet but early observation are trending towards absolutely true.

Niece used my BB tickets yesterday, I had other commitments. Good thing she's been a Cyclone fan for her whole life, that would have been a tough game to start on.

We’ll start slowing down after the middle of February. Right about the same time @CloneLawman will start getting busy.
Not going to miss much ISU club stuff. People have stopped coming and we will not do a gamewatch next weekend since it will be Stupid Bowl weekend downtown. Not long after that I am off to get murdered in Mexico and not sure if anyone else is interested enough to do the gamewatches.
I have immunity to games like yesterday from watching in the 1970's dark ages of ISU hoops. Younger alumni don't have the scars and immunity from that period and take these losses too hard. I am pretty sure a vaccine could be made based on my immunity. I could be the Cyclone Omega Man.

It’s going to be an interesting year. With the second year where EIC isn’t getting accepted until after 2/15, I’ll be curious to see if people hold off longer to file than before. When our first peak is typically 1/25-2/15, I’m wondering if it will push back now. While we’re still really busy, it’s definitely slower right now that it typically is.
Was that about how it went last year, or did the early filers not notice the EIC "delay"?

Huh. I thought lawyers were greedy for cash, not fire.
I don’t think they really knew it until they came in to file. This year I think they’re more knowledgeable of it.
