"And that was Mary Had a Little Lamb"

We had the 6th grade orchestra concert the other night. On the program, one of the songs was named "Mozart Melody". The melody consisted of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

If I have learned anything on CF it is that there are a few guys on here that waste no chance to puff out their chest and claim that they negotiate hard on everything and it ALWAYS works.

I forget where I came upon this or who told me but the basic statement is this: The way we think people will treat us is the way we actually treat people. (not exact but basic) . Broken down is, if going into a situation, we think people will be honest with us; we typically are honest and upfront people ourselves. If we enter a new situation and we think that people are just going to hose us over; we typically are trying to screw the others over.

This is for general first impressions and not after you have gotten to know someone. You go off experience then. I found this statement to be extremely acurate when listening to people. Those people that knew they were going to get nailed by this new guy was finding a way to hose him over themselves.

Since Justin Timberlake was brought up last night, I'll cash in my man card a bit and admit that I don't mind a few of his songs that my daughter has played. I've also liked him in a few different movies and on talk show interviews.

Plus he gave the world

Not at all a fan of his music, but when I see him on SNL it is apparent that he has talent both musically and for comedy. I do enjoy watching SNL when he is hosting.

Wx, you got the like for flying tomorrow not for being bored. Have fun tomorrow!

CyclonesRGr8, good luck with the sale, hope you come thru it unscathed.

Taco salad for supper tonight, I probably should do that more often. It's probably healthier for me than when I just eat tacos.

Test patch of heated pavement that melts ice. Will be expensive to implement in the short term, will save mega $$ longterm, but likely will raise ticket prices overall. :(

Seen that on the news if they would wait and do it on scheduled runway replacement repair it probably wouldn't be so bad. t's really just a fancy heated concrete floor. It was interesting they forgot to mention how much electricity it uses. I wonder if pipes and hot water would be cheaper/ durable enough to take the abuse of planes landing on them?

At least at DSM the intent is not to use it so much on a runway or taxiway as the ramp where you have people walking around and thus the possibility for slips and falls.
