That totally explains why Hamlet was going insane.

You're telling us that you don't have conversations with old body parts? What the heck is wrong with you? (Clever post, though)

Got up for my old normal 6:15 AM workout group for the first time in a few weeks, and my first full cardio day in a couple weeks.

Nice to be back to normal and see energy levels increasing even more. Since getting home, had a nice breakfast, a good shower, moved half the basement and living room, and Z is borderline winded.

Tomorrow night: Start training for the 5k on DSM Marathon weekend, since the marathon and half are way beyond reach at the moment.

6:15 in the freakin' AM?

Twins is a freaking damn hero. Lots of people just let him deal with those trolls. CF ought to pay the guy if they won't get some balls and ban some of that garbage. Are the site hits really worth it? I think they lose a lot of people because of it too.

Twins also seems to stay pretty rational, too. He gets insulted and called out by those clowns, and yet he just keeps pounding away. It's impressive to watch. (But tiring)

Woke up Saturday morning to a nice crisp 60 degrees. I grabbed a blanket and sat on the deck and read for an hour. It was pretty fantastic.

It was like I was in a Folgers commercial, except without the coffee.

Wife has me on a new coffee kick - we like the Dunkin Donuts coffee, I buy in bean form and she grinds it fresh every morning. Ahhh.......coffee!!!!

I am not a morning person. Sunday was 5am alarm to get people out the door by 6am. Didn't bother to check the rain-out line. Was heading back to bed and thought "I had better grab my phone just in case." Sure enough, get an email that games are 90min delayed.

This morning's 4:45am wake up was brought to me by a child. "When I woke up at midnight to get a drink of water I threw up a little". We are currently having a movie marathon (with my eyes closed part of the time).

I'm guessing by the time I get to sleep what I want, I'll have to get up and pee three times a night.:(

Teenagers bring a different set up sleep deprivation problems, but you already have some of those with your oldest and the sports.

Not to be an elitist or anything, but that is more of a guy problem. Sometimes I get up, shuffle into the bathroom, and stand there.........and then I'll jerk back awake and think, "How long have I been here, leaning against the wall?" o_O

I have a lot of kids and one of them weighed 9 lb., 13 oz. I have been afraid to laugh ever since.

So it appears this ISU volleyball team may not be too shabby, huh?

wish we'd have made the changes we did prior to the UNI game. But I suppose hindsight and all.

I will note a huge caveat on the Creighton game - they had lost their All-American setter the night before so we were playing a heavily weakened team.

Busy day Saturday followed by a relaxing Sunday. Took LittleWx to Meet Thomas the Tank Engine in Boone. He is a lot like me in unknown places or around people he doesn't know and had little emotion that day but kept saying he had fun. I would say that is confirmed by the fact that he keeps talking about it.

Babywatch: Nothing too interesting other than I need to get my hair cut soon so I am not battling bed head in the hospital.

glad it sounds like things have calmed down on the baby wxman front.

New pvc traps 100x>than old metal ones. And "thanks" for the reminder for a little task I need to do at my parental units old house. Before my mother went into the nursing home she put her wedding band somewhere. Sister has her wedding ring but not the band. House is pretty empty and everything has been gone through. Boxster has opined that maybe it got knocked into the kitchen sink and is in the p-trap. Mother had macular degeneration and was legally blind for years. That p-trap that was put in 50 years ago. o_O Have tools, will travel.
While you're down there, maybe you should help out with getting things ready for auction.

But Saturday's win was a pretty good win over a ranked opponent too, right? You can only play the teams on your schedule with the players they have available to play.

Also, didn't UNI just beat Nebraska? They may be a pretty damned good team.
