So with the scare of getting pink eye I ditched the contacts today and wore my glasses. I very rarely wear them outside of the house and this is only the second time I have worn them to work. Everyone says they make me look smart which is obviously a compliment that is appreciated. On the other hand how do I look normally? Also is this like a cute schoolgirl kind of good look or not?

Because I normally wear my glasses, I get the opposite of this when I wear contacts, instead. "You look so pretty without your glasses"....so do I not when I have them on?

Except tinder. Most of my pictures are without glasses, but I frequently get comments about the one that does have them.

I live in a very dog friendly apartment complex, almost everyone has a pet here, it seems. The only real rule (obvious) is that you need to clean up after your pet outside, so it really pisses me off when I go out, and I see poo within a foot from the area of bags/waste bin. How ******* lazy do you have to be to not pick that up?

Just watched the first episode of Game of Thrones. Feels like I've been missing out.

Also just saw the campus town upgrades that are now complete and I think it's taken away a lot of the charm of that stretch of road.

I envy you. Watching the show for the first time is a great experience. I did it, then I got to experience it when my wife watched them all with me and got hooked herself. There are a lot of haters, but it really is a great show.

This was going to be my suggestion, although like wx said it may be a pretty popular place. I know there are signs up at Hy Vee that say no game day parking. The ghost lot at Kmart maybe? (Every time I go to staples or the movie theater, I have to convince myself those businesses are still open). I would think MWL would be ticketed, but maybe they aren't concerned with that.

Isnt' there a gen staff lot between the dorms & Lied that is open on weekends?

Point and laugh at Woo time: I didn't realize that was ICE T. I know who he is, but I didn't realize that was him. So I was watching tv with friends and that ad came on and I said something like, "Whenever I see this ad, all I can think is 'those kids should stop selling lemonade. If everyone wants Ice Tea then respond to the market and make Ice Tea'". My friend then explained in a pained voice that was the joke, the people were talking about Ice T the rapper. Not one of my prouder moments

My father in law and I were sitting watching football this weekend and this commercial came on.

We both chuckled and I asked him, "If Ice T drinks some of that lemonade, does he turn into Arnold Palmer?" He's a big golf guy, so he liked that one.

His response was, "Only if he drinks half of it."
