I'm coming up for the game this weekend. My sister mentioned that she might park at Maple/Willow/Larch. Is that open for parking during games? I always thought it was patrolled and ticketed really heavily during games.

Sending prayers.Ugh, not to bring the mood down, but I just heard that my new niece is having some issues and is being transferred to KU Medical. Send a happy thought or prayer that way for me.
Depending on how early you get there I believe they now check parking passes coming and going from there. My parents have season tickets and always park at Forker/that parking ramp because it is free. This is becoming a not so secret tailgating spot now though.
Plenty of people park at Hy Vee on game day. I think the KMart lot is popular as wellThis was going to be my suggestion, although like wx said it may be a pretty popular place. I know there are signs up at Hy Vee that say no game day parking. The ghost lot at Kmart maybe? (Every time I go to staples or the movie theater, I have to convince myself those businesses are still open). I would think MWL would be ticketed, but maybe they aren't concerned with that.
Super sad I didn't get to see KC's mass confusion happen live.
It's only 9:30 and I already absolutely hate this gloomy overcast misty rainy depressing ******* Monday.
Not counting tomorrow the weather forecast looks to call for rain, forever. I miss dry falls. What became of them?

So with the scare of getting pink eye I ditched the contacts today and wore my glasses. I very rarely wear them outside of the house and this is only the second time I have worn them to work. Everyone says they make me look smart which is obviously a compliment that is appreciated. On the other hand how do I look normally? Also is this like a cute schoolgirl kind of good look or not?
Point and laugh at Woo time: I didn't realize that was ICE T. I know who he is, but I didn't realize that was him. So I was watching tv with friends and that ad came on and I said something like, "Whenever I see this ad, all I can think is 'those kids should stop selling lemonade. If everyone wants Ice Tea then respond to the market and make Ice Tea'". My friend then explained in a pained voice that was the joke, the people were talking about Ice T the rapper. Not one of my prouder momentsI like the ICE T/ lemonade commercial.

Pretty much every person I've dated in my life, people say "how'd you pull that off? She must be blind." Which is meant as a compliment, but is totally an insult.
In a completely unrelated note, every person I've ever dated has worn glasses or contacts.

When someone says they make you look smart, you should immediately backhand them and say "I'm a PILOT, of course I'm smart!"
