Time to head downtown for the end of the Surdyk's wine sale. I DO NOT want to be anywhere near downtown later today with the Vikings, Twins and Gophers all playing tonight. Going to be a mother of all traffic jams. Go to the bathroom and pack a lunch before you leave work kinda thing.

Holy cats that was a scheduling masterpiece. Even the light rail will be filled up with all the people going both ways.

It's wider than tall and really heavy.

I have one in my bedroom that would be equivalent to the Ikea toddler killers. I should probably attach it although the current grandruffians who visit aren't dresser toppler age anymore but their little future sister to be will be in a few years.

Is it just me or is this Big Papi corn maze not very good.

I can make out "Thanks. Big Papi" but I still for the life of me can't make out an image of him. I think I might see a couple of hands pointing up to the sky. That gets national attention and good ones like this are hardly noticed in the Twin Cities.

I just did a phone interview. Caught me off guard a little. Voice is a little raspy today from allergies. Place I applied to is owned by a company out of Kansas. So they do the preliminary phone interviews, and they send information on to hiring managers. I think it went well.

I was in the middle of making lunch too.

Once again, the Midwest proves it's corn dominance. There are some really good ones in KC as well. One of my favorites from a few years ago:

Ran 3.5 this afternoon in test number run #6. Running ball is back in CG's court and I believe she MUST run this evening or be run shamed by the old man. ;)

Trying not to get my hopes up too much but ran 40 seconds a mile faster than Saturday's run. Insert cautious subdued woot woot!

And wow, perfect weather at 74 degree and dewpoint of 52.
