My mom put moth balls in all drawers when we were little. A known carcinogen. Thanks, Mom.
We made snow globes in school one year for Christmas using moth balls. My mom is allergic to them and she broke out in hives after receiving my gift. (looks around to see that Mrs. JCyclonee isn't looking) Thanks teachers.

Ran 3.5 this afternoon in test number run #6. Running ball is back in CG's court and I believe she MUST run this evening or be run shamed by the old man. ;)

Trying not to get my hopes up too much but ran 40 seconds a mile faster than Saturday's run. Insert cautious subdued woot woot!

And wow, perfect weather at 74 degree and dewpoint of 52.

lovely running weather but no go for me today. I'm actually still fighting this cough/cold thing and seem to have crap still in my lungs. I'm hoping to run tomorrow though.........two weeks after I first got sick. No fever though so not much to be done other than try to rest.

Probably not known back then (?), she just wanted to keep the bugs and stuff out of your clothing. I can remember mothball in my parents attic to keep winter clothes bug/mouse free.

Saw a person at the grocery store today (probably late 20's) wearing a "I still live with my parents" shirt while shopping with his parents. Incredible. Damn millenials.

Wimp. A little wheezing early in a run is a good thing! :)

I wheezed some at 1/2 mile.

With most El Ed teachers being female, they always make sure the kids make a mother's day present.......but never dad.

They made sure Mother's Day is in May - during the school year. So they would get presents from school, then relegated Father's day to late June. Schools Out. It's a damn conspiracy.

Actually just read tonight that working out might be part of why this is hanging around. I tend to think of colds as in the head so ok to work out. So I have been, including runn8ng a couple times. Didnt really cross my mind til reading that that oh yeah, hacking cough isn't really in the head. Whoops.
