Yes

Kinda what I figured. I wouldn't mind the neighbor part of it but there is just no way I want to go back to an apartment. The only reason I entertain the condo/town home idea is that there are some 5-10 minutes within work and they are cheaper. Heard resaleing can be a *****. Thats pry why there is so many of them on the market in Wdsm.

Yeah - I pretty much agree with CG on her assessment. Especially if you think there may be a family in your future somewhere down the road. CyHippHopp just went through a lot of that resale mess when his family changed (married, wife is pregnant).

from what you've talked about house life (mostly the party part) I didn't know if that would mesh with condo living. The neighbor part is fine as long as everyone gets along or leaves each other alone. We never had an issue with anyone in five years at my last place. Have you looked into other house rentals?

ETA: just saw the "yes" on buying. If dead set on buying and not wanting to rent, I'd look at a small house in your situation. Not anything huge that you need 5+ years to get back your closing costs or something that would be really hard to get rid of should life circumstances change.

addendum: if you're handy with tools, WDSM, a starter home that could use a little fixing up might be a good investment.

I would live with pants but that'd be awkward since he's my dad. KC you have a roommate? I miss home cooked meals and good company
