Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

Man that Octavious dude isn't wasting anytime being an asshat, is he. 18 posts and he has already called people numerous names and insulted women. I wonder if he is another reincarnation.

I saw that too. Went from zero to ******* in record time.

So when I reply to someone and the screen goes white, the quoted post and my reply populate the next message I type. This is fun.

I believe someone dubbed it The White Screen of Frustration. If you refresh your screen it will take you right back to where you were in my experience. Hopefully they will get the "post ghosting" you referenced worked out soon.

I'm sure the wedding guests will be disappointed.

Nothing like a sweat soaked WDSM to get the juices flowing.

I didn't sweat hardly at all during my outdoor June wedding last year, the weather was perfect during the ceremony. It clouded over just enough to make it nice and comfy outside. It was hotter inside the house. Me and my groomsmen were lucky enough to be able to literally chill out in the only room with good air conditioning, while the ladies baked in the kitchen/dining room area. They chose their spot, so they couldn't complain too much.

But I did sweat like a pig at the reception. We had way too much fun to stay sweat free.

Half the time I get the white screen and half the time I get an ad. I wonder if the white screen is a un-loaded ad.

This is important. It is your (and your spouse's) party. You should have as much or more fun as anyone there. Mrs. Velo and I had a great party. At my nephew's reception this summer people still brought up how much fun ours was and that was 15 years ago.

That is an ad for this:

We had people tell us they had a blast with us as well.

I didn't even get to talk to a more than two thirds of the people there, and there weren't THAT many, but we all had fun.

I got to eat a little of the food and have a little cake. That was it. I actually drank more on the way to the reception than I did AT the reception. Too busy running around and dancing and having fun.

My boys and every other kid was spoiled too. We had a Candy Bar with bowls of multiple kinds of candy, and a photo booth. They're going to expect that kind of party at every wedding we go to and will likely be disappointed.

Boxster's golf thread for starters.

I figured there would be some good discussion, wasn't thinking a total d-canoe would spam the thread with insults over golf. Not sure if this guy is a for real asshat or just likes playing one on the internet. He's trying hard to stay "in character".

Edit: Angie just posted a warning in that thread. Glad the mods noticed.

Edit #2: Now he is challenging Angie.

Yeah, I felt bad that he was doing his darnedest to ruin your good thread.

ha, hoppity, I definitely drank more on the 45 minute drive to the reception than at the reception too. Of course, I think that equated to one amaretto sour in the limo vs one glass of wine at the reception.

WDSM, don't worry, your nerves about having to do that speech will keep you sweaty enough :D

I look forward to seeing how this turns out. Also when does bookie go online? Has anyone heard?

Same company. This will open me up for the entire country for potential promotions whereas in Hawaii I was pretty much only looked at for the west coast positions.

So you were in line for the Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man position?

Beers on me to anyone who can get that one without googling.

I like to feel my report on his incredibly out of bounds post helped.

I don't believe that I have ever golfed. No interest. Think I read somewhere that my generation has the lowest % of people who play or something. Even like accounting for age and such.
