Both hurricanes are expected to be downgraded to tropical storms by the time they hit the islands. Shouldn't be all too bad. Just a ton of rain.

I've been watching Ken Burns' Civil War while I cross stitch. We're getting to the end though. Thinking Sherman is burning up Georgia tonight.

McClellan just unsuccessfully ran for President against Lincoln. One of McClellan's former soldiers (whose diary they feature) said "the best thing the army of the Potomac (that McClellan led, er, sat around and let molder, two different times) did was to vote for Lincoln."
