I wish I'd started this thread, but I probably wasn't confident in my abilities at the time it began.

All 3 of these posts remind me how I've been thinking that this really isn't a 'random thoughts' thread anymore...plus, why are we fluffing rhino's cycredit count with the posts in this one, and maybe we should start a "CF Chat lounge" thread...but, I didn't want to just start it if everyone was dead set on this one.

Pants/Cowgirl/KC, and other random stoppers by....what say you?

Doesn't what you see depend on whether you can actually see every post? I know that sounds like talking in a circle, but I know I see different numbers of replies depending on whether or not I'm logged in.

Why is it that in every. Single. Football thread someone feels they have to go in and talk about how awful we're going to be? It's literally every thread. Even if it's something not related at all to how people think we'll do, they still feel they have to randomly pop in and say how terrible they think we'll be.

I remember useless stuff, too. I could tell you off the top of my head how many carries and rushing yards Walter Payton had in his first game in the NFL, but I can't remember to put deodorant on most mornings.

I also remember saying things to people, but I never remember whom I've said it to, so I always end up repeating things I've already said to people.

Wear deodorant to your next job interview. It might help.

This caused an internal struggle for me...I would microwave my son's eggs for 2 minutes...do you hit the 30 second button 4 times, or 2,0,0, start? Both are 4 keystrokes...ultimately, I decided that it started automatically when you hit the 30 second button, so I was saving the approximately 1/2 second it took me to hit the 0, 0, and start the other way, and I stuck with it...but then I changed bowls and I had to up it to 2:40, so I type it in now. The things I think about when making eggs 3 mornings out of 7.

On my microwave I can just hit 1,2,3... and it will go for that many minutes. One button push. If I have to do 1:30 I push 1 and then the +30 button.
