true story, DH gave me his senior pics as a birthday gift one year (yeah, I married him despite this) and on the back, he wrote a note. Each picture's note was addressed to a different personality of mine. He thought he was just har-larious.
I'll be going mostly radio silent for a few days...I'll be off to visit the in-laws, which includes Carl...for those who were in on that discussion.
If I'm not back posting by Monday evening, I may have snapped.

Well, I belong to a family where when **** goes bad, it goes baaaad. Since January 1 my Dad was in ICU for two days, hospital another five, rehab facility for six weeks. For the first two weeks at home we were also there almost constantly. The good news is that he did recover. We didn't leave his bedside for the first two weeks because he had near-collapsed lungs and was in a delirium from anesthesia. Meanwhile, my Mom has been hospitalized four times, all via the ER with cardiac-arrest symptoms or in a-fib that required shocks to settle down. To top it off I've had bronchitis and strep throat, and missed a full week of work unexpectedly when a cracked tooth because wildly infected, requiring immediate removal - and then a secondary infection moved in knocking me off kilter enough where husband eventually drug my carcass in for i.v. fluids and big time antibiotic and prednisone injections. So yah, 2014, has been one for the record books.
So, I'm saying it can happen.
Well...the bad news is, you have missed the Rapture.
The good news is, you're apparently not alone.

I know my posting history...are you talking for the defense, or for the prosecution?

maybe it would help if you learned Carl's love language

I was just going to say, I'm not sure if us being his character witnesses is good or bad for him. Especially when no-pants pantsy gets up on the stand. Actually, don't invite pantsy to be your witness.
