Why do vegans make stuff like meatless meatballs? If it is meatless how can it be a meatball?
And if they are so opposed to the concept of eating meat isn't the very reference of meat hypocritical?

If they oppose the idea of faux fur wouldn't they also oppose the idea of faux meatballs?

And why in the world would anyone want to eat a fake meatball?

This just popped up on my Facebook...thought it was serendipitous...

How come TV shows have adult friends all just sitting around hanging out. Anyone outside of college or married knows that doesn't happen. I mean just sitting around without any specific purpose.

Speaking of that, I wonder when/why people just stop hanging out. It's not like there is a date on a calendar where you must stop but we all stopped at some point.

Full time job + a place to live that you've made your own and comfortable to you is usually the end, I think. I think you can 'hang out' if you have a full time job, but you just live in a small apartment, but I think the combination is what does it. I think in large cities where rent is so expensive people have tiny apartments, they tend to spend more time out and about, but once you get a good nesting spot, that ends it.

Have you ever been to a small town diner, or even a small town Casey's, in the morning, or Hy-Vee in the larger towns? You'll see a table of old men sitting there every day. The same men usually.

They're hanging out.

Yes. The coffee club of retired old men. Not exactly what I had in mind when asking the question. How about, young professionals or those in late 20s/early 30s. Tons of shows show them just hanging out. Real life suggests otherwise.

You know those porno's where the wife is home alone and a neighbor/husbands best friend comes and ****s the **** out of this wife because she noticed he was hard as he was trying to find out why her faucet was leaking?

I like to imagine the husband is twocoach.

I'm not a vegan, only a pescetarian, so I don't know if I can answer this question to your liking, but ultimately, it's just a name. People are put off by the word "meat" they're put off by the process of how it's made.

And some of that food isn't bad. Smart Life makes a pretty good loose meat turkey and ham made out of soy protein, and companies like MorningStar make good hamburger, hot dog and chicken patty substitutes. Obviously they're not as good as the real thing, but for someone that doesn't eat meat and has the craving for something like that, they're a serviceable replacement. And, they're generally much lower in calories and fat.

And I don't know anyone that opposes the idea of faux fur, unless you count the crazy PETA people.
