I haven't started one, but I'm sure there are more regular (regularer?) posters than me who should be up for it.

This isn't the Regular Thoughts Thread. If you want to participate in the cage match to determine who gets it, you should. Maybe @GTO can participate as referee.

Shockingly, I don't believe @cyrocksmypants has started one either.

I already have my closing gif prepared.

I strenuously object to Pants. ;)

By the way, I haven't either. Nor has Wx or Ms3, or Birdy, Or Revkah, BuffetClone, cmjh, or a whole host, I'm guessing. Has BCC? @SCyclone needs to be in the cage match as well, but he can't use his hunting rifle. Sigma?

What is your go-to website for booking flights? I don't travel enough to be proficient and want to start watching some flight prices for next summer. I've looked at about 7 different sites so far and haven't noticed huge differences. The only international flight I've taken was to Calgary, but we're looking at KC to Salzburg. Any tips for me?

Not sure about international, but I tend to look at google flights or kayak. I always directly book through the airline. Way easier in my opinion. Always hear about someone getting screwed or having trouble because they booked through expedia and the airline won't honor it. Especially for people that switch airlines on a 2 leg trip.

US flights or flights to airports I'm familiar with I have used Orbitz in the past because it's easy for me to find & compare flights. I've been told it doesn't have the best prices however. Lately I've been looking there, but booking directly with UA (we have mileage with them). For international flights to airports we have not yet passed through, I prefer to use a travel agent because they know the details of the airports and local transportation and layover times necessary. They've also been helpful in setting up flights into one place and out of another (example: fly to Ft Lauderdale, cruise, drive up the coast, return from Orlando. Another trip we flew into Maui, took an inter-island flight to Oahu, returned home from Oahu).
Google Flights is my go to. Currently using it to plan flights to/from our cruise. Allows you to set up alerts to get notified via email when the price changes. Works for both the entire route or if you select specific flights you want it will do it that way to. Gives you the prices with taxes and fees included and takes you directly to the airlines webpage.
Never used Google flights. May have to check it out.
We've embarked from Galveston, Miami & Ft Lauderdale; haven't yet embarked from NOLA. Let me know how it goes!

Met with spring T.A. today. I've known him for quite a while, so it's pretty easy.
Wanted to give him input on some key parts that impact him directly, i.e. stuff that I do for smaller classes, but would result in him grading 100 extra things.

So he picked all the most radical parts of my vision, even when I offered much easier stuff for him. Interesting approach. It ought to be a good time.
