We've got a potential tropical storm brewing. So that should be fun to fly out of next week.

Boxster and Velo, Thanks for getting me out tonight. I came home late and was feeling bad, ate a couple of pieces of watermelon and drank some water, then went out took the usual 1 hill ride. Took a road bike out for a test spin on Sun. only went a mile but it was pretty nice. The saddle was more comfortable than I thought it would be. It might be nice to have one for longer rides and keep using my old bike for my daily rides for more exercise.

I just don't understand the attraction of outdoor weddings. Every one I have ever been to has either had rain, mosquitoes, extreme heat and humidity, too much surrounding noise, bees around the flowers, and/or smudgy makeup and wilted hair on the bride. Plus all of that makeup they pay someone to do looks so Miss Piggyish/ Tammy Faye outside.

The wedding I went to last month featured heat, humidity, and the sounds of love echoing out of cannons shooting from Ft. Riley.

I mean, not to give pants more ammo, but my SIL's in Maui was fantastic. Of course, it was in Maui, so you had a *pretty* good idea of what the weather would be like.

I think you can usually give tropical locations a pass on this, unless you're stupid enough to get married in hurricane season.
