have you seen bos around lately?
just kidding, I paid off Jeremy because I really wanted to know who the secret candidates were.

To the question of how many hours, it’s intuitive; I don't have a nice clean above/below the line number for you.
My feelings on this harken back to the false premise of a graduate school soc course I took back in the day on recreation and leisure time. That was 40 years and the projection was the “future” (which is now) would be unbelievably awesome with the then established 40 hour work week going down to 24-32 hours. What would people be doing with all of their extra leisure time? Keep in mind this was on the tail of the post WWII economic boom and that influenced the viewpoints. Rather than working 6 or 7 days a week people were already down to the 5 days week and an 8 hour day and why wouldn't that just keep trending down? Of course the tech that was projected to “free” us in many ways ties people to their jobs all of the time (emails/computer access 24/7 etc). Oh, well, we won WWII but the Europeans won the leisure and rec time.
Actually just read about a study saying that a 4 day 35 hour workweek might be the most productive.
Nah, I don't think I'd want the headaches inherent in the moderator job. I'm looking to be promoted to VIP poster as soon as I figure out the qualifications.![]()
Does that mean I get to leave an hour early on Thursday?
did I mess that up? I can't find the article now but I thought's that what it was. You work slightly longer hours M-Th and take Friday (or Monday, or whichever day I suppose) off.
Four 9 hour days would be 36, but it is feasible that they were advocating for four 8:45 days. I was just giving you crap. Heck my average day is already 8:45 plus so I might as well do four of them rather than five...
I've realized that I'm one of the few regulars on RT that isn't at level 100. I keep waiting to get sent down to the minors.

I am also short of Level 100. I don't think I'll ever get there.
I think you need to start lots of threads and I only start threads in WBB and occasionally elsewhere but the MBB and football forums are mostly farts in the wind threads and I don't feel the need to start another Blazing Saddles fireside thread.
I actually have no idea how this points stuff works.

I don't start many threads. I just have a trillion posts.
I hear you; same here. It is interesting that we have almost the same number of likes on our posts.

I think I'm partially hurt by my likes received/likes given ratio. I know many on here won't like posts if that's too askew. I just post all the time from mobile, so I don't give a lot of likes as I have to log in to full site to do so.
Just looked up my threads started history. Last one was almost a year ago.
Most successful ones have been "What's the last Good Book you've Read" with almost 400 posts and then my troll job "We Can Still Make a Bowl Game" that I did this last season.

Sorry, that's dumb. It's like communism. I'm free market thumbs-up, baby...if it's a worthy post, I'll give it. Heck, I've even given thought to giving it to posters I generally dislike, but at the end of the day, I decided if it's a good post, I give it. My ratio is skewed because I tend to post smart-arse stuff or kiddos stuff, and kiddos stuff always gets a hit from Rev.
