That was very nice. So was that dunk on his post move. He completely fooled the defender.
Not bad with Naz guarding. No clue about effort, but at least it's not against a walk on from Grand View
He needs some work but he did some good things. He works his tail off. Needs some work on foot work and when to go for the block and when to stay down. Strong rebounder, solid form on his shots.
Gibson was disappointing, he basically just shot threes the whole time.
Hopefully Doc S can really make an impact on Edozie given his effort.
As for Gibson, from what I've heard, the coaches are running out of patience with his effort and nonchalant attitude. He's a transfer candidate if he doesn't make the leap this year, IMO.

Rivals had him at 175 coming out of high school. Cyclones.com has him at 190.

Totally agree with this. They could be pretty small this year and next if he does though.
He dunked that over some poor kid from North that was in the game for maybe 2 mins. Guy looked lost on defense the whole time and managed to be in the wrong spot when SDW went up for that one.
I know it was just one game but....
He is a huge guy and rebounded pretty well. The negative is that he looks really awkward. Kinda like that big kid in school who never really learned how to move his body fluidly. I really dont know if that is something that you can fix. Hopefully Fred and co. and help him out!

Forgot he had that many offers. Sherron must be some pretty good talent. Hope he shows it next year.
Indiana and Michigan tend to offer scholarships to pretty good players. SDW is going to be a stud
Michigan offered SDW to play PG. That just tells you how good of handles he has. Kid is going to be special.

3 young guards we can call special. This is really going to be a fun ride.
Best news of the night? SDW is up to 200 lbs! Much of the talk last year was that the talent was there but that he would get pushed around in the Big 12. Well, an extra 25 lbs will certainly help with that, and just the fact that he is capable of putting on weight is a very good sign. Some skinny kids just can't put on the weight no matter what they do. If he keeps bulking up buy keeps the smooth shot he could be a very good one.
