So are you saying that D.J. Johnson and Hurt are equal to Gipson and Niño Williams? Can't agree with that. This is a NIT program at best and that will be with Bruce squeezing every last drop of talent out of them. I love Iwandu's measurables but the kid will need a jumper to become more effective.

Is he related to El Niño?

Memphis is losing two former top 100 HS Recruits to transfer. I could see either intriguing the staff.

"King, a 6-foot-7 wing, is a former top 50 recruit that averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 boards this past season for the Tigers, starting seven games. It was his second season with the program. Powell, a freshman, started 11 games and averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 assists this year. He was a top 100 recruit but was not academically eligible last season."

Agree in theory, but Burton is not sitting another year. He will play a role in the Big 12 season. We aren't finished with roster movement this year. Still believe there will be another shoe (or two) to drop.

Burton is a question mark on whether he will be a good big 12 player. not sure what makes you so confident. I do think there is a chance he could redshirt.

If there is one or two more to leave that is bad news for next year.

I absolutely don't think Fred has any interest in Foster, but with a dismissal rather than a transfer I wouldn't think the dismissing school would have any say where the player ends up.

I still believe Big 12 Conference rules would apply were any player transferring to a Big 12 school will have to sit and pay their way for a year instead of using a red shirt. (ex. Uthoff) I don't see Foster doing that.

I am fairly confident in Burton's potential, he has the athleticism and had flashes in limited minutes at Marquette. More importantly CFH/Staff wanted him out of high school and put a full court press once he announced he was transfering from MU. I'll trust the staff's judgment that he can and will be an impact player once eligible.

I think the coaching staff did their due diligence with Burton and Cooke. They will be good!

I would love for Marcus Lee to transfer from Kentucky. He would be a great pickup. or Poythress since he would be a grad transfer.

That's probably good. To me, 2016 is really going to be a big class, and I'd almost rather have a guy or two sitting out that can be ready to help then than to add to an already crowded lineup for 2015.

Of we don't land Diallo it would not surprise me to see the staff try to go after a 5th yr big or late Juco big. It isn't all that crowded in the front court. If McKay get in FT or God forbid gets hurt then what? We are back to a very small lineup struggling to rebound. Williams is more of a perimeter wing then he is a banger inside. Staff knows Diallo is one and done and yet they see a big need for him next year other than he's a top 10 recruit.

No..this team needs another big who can rebound and play good defense inside.
