Well, our downward spiral continues. Our bball program is heading back to dark places.

Better hope you get a transfer who can play right away, and I mean a Deandre Kane caliber transfer, not Justin Edwards caliber.

Watch Weber make the dance next year. Maybe a good thing for the rest of the conference. Edwards, Johnson, Johnson, Harris, Hurt, and the dude that owned Georges in Manhattan are still a decent core. If Weber gets one or two good recruits, they probably are similar to this year.

I don't think CFH is looking for the headaches of Marcus Foster. Much better options out there in the transfer market.

The guy from Cornell, Shonn Miller, looks intriguing. Long, athletic 3/4 man who can rebound and get to the line. Averaged 17 and 8.5. Can also play right away. By all accounts a good kid and not a character issue. Leaving because Ivy league rules prohibit players from playing after graduation. Getting him would allow us to red shirt Burton next year and give him a full two years, spreading our talent out.

Looking for kids that have played the role of "big dog" on a subpar squad. Those are the kids that want to win. If they were just looking for numbers they would stay with their current squads.

So a crappy team?

Agree in theory, but Burton is not sitting another year. He will play a role in the Big 12 season. We aren't finished with roster movement this year. Still believe there will be another shoe (or two) to drop.

So a crappy team?

8-10 with a win over ISU, Baylor, KU, sweep of OU, near upset of Zona, etc.

With as much as they under-preformed this year, largely due to Weber losing the team, they could easily lose talent that was sitting on the self and get "better". It's not like Foster was playing every game like a All Big 12 guy. The only loss that hurts so far is Gipson graduating.

I'm sorry but will the loss of Nino Williams and Gipson this KSU squad will struggle to put a competitive team on the floor. Think the last couple years under McDermott.

If Weber does not regain the focus of his team, perhaps.

Yes, Williams is a loss. Of course, not many would have predicted him having such a year at this time last year. DJ Johnson will help. Add a couple good recruits to Wesley, Nigel Johnson, Edwards, and Hurt and they will be just as good as this year, at least record wise. They didn't lose many of those games due to talent.

Weber had great success at So Ill. He doesn't need superior talent IMO. He needs tough players with just enough talent that puts up with him.

So are you saying that D.J. Johnson and Hurt are equal to Gipson and Niño Williams? Can't agree with that. This is a NIT program at best and that will be with Bruce squeezing every last drop of talent out of them. I love Iwandu's measurables but the kid will need a jumper to become more effective.

I see no chance of a decent PG coming to sit behind Morris.
Hopefully Cooke can fill that need.

Team needs a big for next year, if not Diallo I would like to see a guy like Gonzaga has with a lot of bulk as a compliment to McKay then a shooter that can defend the 3. The new scholarship should be for a transfer big that would sit a year.

Might not be a kid that plays next year but rather a kid that sits next year and had two years of eligibility.

No, I am not saying that.

Minus those two the most important players are coming back, plus DJ Johnson. Add in a couple good recruits and that team will likely have a similar W-L as this one, maybe better if they avoid the non conference losses to TX So types. Remember how far OK St was going to drop losing Smart, Brown, etc? Teams that underpreform tend not to drop as much as thought
