They put an o-lineman into the NFL a few years ago. I want to say he is a starter for the Chargers?
Safety Brady Hummel flips from WSU to ISU! This is the one I was hoping for.
The thing that's really weird about this portal is that we are usually looking to the portal for players that will be in the 2-deep, or at least challenge for it. We almost never brought in portal players before to be the practice squad guy, or the 6th on the depth chart. Those would be filled with HS recruits or former walk-ons. But with the complete roster flip, we are bringing in a whole new roster top to bottom, so some of these guys may compete to start, but some of the DII guys might just be the 5th guy on the depth chart. We have no idea what the coaches are thinking when they bring these guys in - but a lot of people seem to react as though they are all intended to be in the 2-deep.
It seems like there are many programs out there grabbing DII talent. I think coaches are really trying to pull in value players.

It is a going to be a crazy competitive spring and fall camp, which is excellent for the quality of the team overall, but some might end up with less playing time than they (or we) thought. That's just sports competition with a little bit of a twist
Appears Campbell can’t afford Cooper’s asking price and didn’t want Ezeogu or Sama.
There's probably a lot of value to be found. There are probably a handful of players that are elite, but it's hard for me to believe many of these players are worth the premium they're getting.
Can't afford Cooper with all that extra NIL?? Must be overpaying some of the other ISU transfers
Obviously don’t know what any of them are getting, but it’s very odd Cooper hasn’t signed anywhere but yet Campbell took reaches like the Sowell bros.
It could be nice if they dominate the Big10 and then when most of the ISU players move on suck, I guess.
I was, it’s just a conflicted room.
It’s horrible that CMC decimated ISU and took so many great players, but it’s also awesome because those players that left are all trash now and CMC is going to be fired soon.
Good news is as bad as CMC was taking all the players from ISU it’s totally awesome when JFR takes all WSU’s players. Just like how it’s so cringe when former ISU players post they are “home” at PSU but when a WSU players post says they are home at ISU they are a loyal son forever true with no cringe in sight!
