*OFFICIAL* MBB POST GAME: ISU @ Nebraska

I didn't get to see any of the game. Were they double teaming Craig or what was the deal? On that topic...if we could get Fizer the ball at will on any night why can't we get craig the ball? He should dominate a team like Nebraska who has nobady to match his athleticism.

I would guess it has something to do with our current lack of Jamaal Tinsley.

Could someone please make a list of the players dressed tonight. I know we are short but I really don't know who all is injured, suspended
I believe Colvin and Boozer were the only 2 not dressed.. correct me if I'm wrong.

Listening to the ISU radio broadcast it has dawned on me that we have no identity as a team. We always seem to let the other team set the tone of play.

You know UNC is going to try to run no matter what. Back in the day you knew Arkansas was going to press (40 minutes of hell) and run. You expect UCLA under Howland to play lock down 1/2 court defense.

All of our 4 prior coaches had a certain style that they tried to impose on the game and the other team. We don't seem to have that under McDermott...do we?

Awwww, someone's mad that we won.

Maybe next time you will go to bed happy.

Pathetic.

Yes, Craig was doubled almost the entire game, as were all of our post players when they touched the ball down low. Fizer got the ball because he played with Tinsley, Nurse, and Horton. All excellent guards.

Because that team had Tinsley and this team doesn't?

We were able to get Craig the ball last year, and that team had no one else who could score.

Even when Craig had the ball tonight, he didn't look that good. He rebounded well, and that was big.

fcmc is on the way.

num1 at least does ask some questions that can be thoughtful. I respect that. Not the right time, but I respect that some of these are thoughtful.

Decent point....I'll play....we haven't had a team that could dictate anything since Fizer/Tinsely. It didn't have jack to do with who the coach was.

CB could step up and be that guy but i just think he is lacking a PG who can have 100% control of the ball on top of the key to allow him to get in position. (I still like DG but his PG skills disappoint me)

Don't underestimate the power of the Dark Side...

Shhhhhhh!!!! Don't remind them.

I will accept the Tinsley answer but I think we have enough talent to get him the ball close to the rim. Sometimes I think he likes to shoot the outside shot to prove he has it. Not trying to be negative when we are all doing so well at being positve but if we are going to the tournament it is going to be because of Craig Brackins.

And I think that's a pretty good answer. DG is solid, but not dominant. That's just not who he is. But he kept things moving, and led us to our first road win in 3 years.
