No. You're missing the point. Offense AND DEFENSE sucks.

Bad offense, may never get down there again, may as well go for it rather than gaining 20 yards on a punt. You're going to lose anyway w/out question. Why not try to do something that might result in a score.

If you don't get it, who cares? You gave up 20 yards of field position that they were going to rip off anyway.

Wrong. Defense kept ISU in the game for a long time. Finally broke. Your memory should tell you ISU gave up just 17 in the first half and it was 10-0 for a long time. The pathetic offense consistely just ****s the defense. D isn't good but today they held for as long as they could.

They did enough to keep us in the game in the first half and adjusted, who knows how they'd play the rest of the game if the offense actually could move the ball and score.

Just checked. It was 171 in the last 3. This one takes us up to a nice 212 over 4 games.

- Rohach is not the future of our team.
- Messingham will lose his job soon.
- K-state has two qbs who are better than any on our roster

But if we put either of those 2 QBs on our team, they'd suck too...

That said, that's how we need to survive. Somehow find a way to cause turnovers and get an occasional short field. We know the offense is going to screw the defense a couple times a game so the defense has to find a way to return the favor.
