Wrong. Defense kept ISU in the game for a long time. Finally broke. Your memory should tell you ISU gave up just 17 in the first half and it was 10-0 for a long time. The pathetic offense consistely just ****s the defense. D isn't good but today they held for as long as they could.No. You're missing the point. Offense AND DEFENSE sucks.
Bad offense, may never get down there again, may as well go for it rather than gaining 20 yards on a punt. You're going to lose anyway w/out question. Why not try to do something that might result in a score.
If you don't get it, who cares? You gave up 20 yards of field position that they were going to rip off anyway.
They did enough to keep us in the game in the first half and adjusted, who knows how they'd play the rest of the game if the offense actually could move the ball and score.41 points against this K-State team and almost 500 yards? Yea our defense sure is serviceable.
We get it. You hate the D, and love the offense.41 points against this K-State team and almost 500 yards? Yea our defense sure is serviceable.
171 in 3 games. Tell me again why we aren't allowed to question (note: not call for firings, just question) our defense? Seems....porous.
Feels that way to the fans.OK....this has taken me back to the Chiz days, and 2003 McCarney team. Anyone denying that this team isn't that bad is in complete denial.
He is still one of the winningest coaches in ISU history right?
And who would you replace him with?
What I learned from this game:
- Rohach is not the future of our team.
- Messingham will lose his job soon.
- K-state has two qbs who are better than any on our roster
