*** Official ISU vs KSU Gameday Thread ***

Who here wouldn't want Petrino. Winning cures everything including scadals, and Petrino will win.

Farley is looking real good for a million. The difference for five years can be paid foir buyout money.

People bagging on our QB should can it. Our receivers suck with a tenacity. Biggest problem in the program for 6 years. That play is a perfect example of it.

I haven't bagged on our QBs all year, really. But if you don't think we have issues at the position, I don't know what more to say. True, our WRs are not helping either of them look good, nor is the OL giving them the time they need to be consistently effective. However, with that said, there have been plenty of opportunities to make a play and the tosses weren't even in the same zip code as the open receiver. The opportunities have often come on broken play situations where timing and rhythm become non issues. This is where good QBs make something out of nothing. If it helps you to think that its all a timing issue or a rhythm issue, by all means, go with that. I think our QB situation matches all our other issues, in at least equal proportion.

What has happened to Broomfield this year. Droping a lot of possible int's and getting beat more often than not.

What if the coach who wants to stay sucks? What do you do then?

I think it's somewhat unhealthy to have a coach where this is the ultimate for him. If ISU is his dream job, I think you've found yourself a giant red-flag.

I'd rather have a coach that aspires to be the next choice at Alabama. It would mean that he'd have to kill himself in order to be a viable option for them and we might actually be good while he's here.

Sounds to me like we've already tried that ... his name is Gene Chizik. That worked out great.
