This is a game we shouldve won even on our worst night... and we would have, had the refs not given UNI a whole ******** of calls.

Shot poorly, rebounded poorly, played to UNI's strengths, refs called a lot of weak fouls. Sums it up.

No reason to get too down. On the road against a well coached team early in the season.

I predicted a loss but it still stings. Refs were pretty bad. Not horrible but certainly did us no favors.

Losing to UNI is annoying. Not sure why but it just is. Probably because if you go to your local YMCA you can find more opposing players than they bring to the table.

Jake is a great coach. Hopefully we learn from this. DG, Scotty, and JVB need to step up as our most experienced players.

Half court offense was bad, nonexistent low post game, impatient, poor rebounding. Some nights the shots don't fall, but disappointed at the lack of intensity and toughness. Going to be a long year.

Not horrible by ISU.

This wasnt exactly Kennesaw St.

These guys have to find a way to get offense in the half court game. Expect a lot of games to look/feel like this one.

Disappointing. I don't like symbolism and the UNI game last year is when our season turned to dog ****.

I hope Fred can rally these guys and they don't get too down. And that they learn from it.

We made bad decisions down the stretch as well.

Needed to get Jake the ball after he tied it.

The refs didn't make us lose this game. Those kind of calls are going to happen, on the road especially. Good teams will win despite that.

UNI imposed their style on us, played good position D, didn't make mistakes, and deserved to win. I figured we'd sputter in our first road game.

Bad officiating is bad officiating. You shouldnt have to play 10pts better than the other team to overcome the refs. Absolutely couldve played better, but fact is, if not for officiating, we win that game.

Figures the first travel call the refs make all game wasn't even travel. My god, they were awful.

They made two key travel calls in a row on UNI. I'm not even sure if the second one was a travel. ISU may have caught a break.

Was the turnover on DG a travel or a palming call? I thought the announcer said he palmed it.

I'm all for the offense they play and what not but when Diante and Ejim are attacking the basket well and we get back in it I just can't understand why we stop. Garrett shooting 2-9 from 3 point range and 7-23 overall will cost us a lot of games, especially when VDB only attempts one. Gotta move that ball.

It would help if they called the game fair. UNI had down field blocking instead of picks all night.
